"CS-AWARE-NEXT" is a project involving 21 subjects representing 8 European countries led by the University of OULUN YLIOPISTO in Finland, the project applicant.

The curriculum of our association is enriched. The project “ CS-AWARE-NEXT ” has been approved, under the HORIZON EUROPE program - call HORIZON-CL3-2021-CS-01 - Increased cybersecurity 2021 , which sees the technical support of Focus Europe, present as a partner in a project that involves 21 subjects representing 8 European countries led by the University of OULUN YLIOPISTO in Finland, applicant of the project.

“CS-AWARE-NEXT” aims to provide improved cybersecurity management capabilities to essential service management organizations and local/regional administrations.

To achieve this goal, CS-AWARE-NEXT has identified several areas of interest to address:

a. Better organizational policy support to enable organizations to better address the dynamic nature of cybersecurity.

b. Strengthened cooperation/collaboration within the organization and with external actors, such as those that make up the local/regional supply chain.

c. Better integration of threat intelligence into operational cybersecurity management using innovative AI approaches and techniques.

d. Recovery/business continuity, integrated into the operational management of cybersecurity.

e. High level of evidence and information gathering and sharing with relevant actors in the multi-layered European cybersecurity framework.

f. Improving the ability to enable organizations to assess their security posture against other relevant actors through benchmarking and profiling.

CS-AWARE-NEXT builds on the awareness, information sharing, cybersecurity and self-healing capabilities of the “CS-AWARE” system, a platform developed during the previously funded H2020 project of the same name.

The integration of the advanced capabilities of “CS-AWARE-NEXT” will enable organizations and essential service delivery networks to be much more effective and efficient in the use of cybersecurity platforms supporting their day-to-day cybersecurity risk and incident management operations.
