What We Do

Focus Europe guarantees its network assistance for the development of local authorities and dialogue with European institutions, addressing information, training and operational issues. We facilitate planning, training and information, promoting internationalization and cooperation with EU institutions and third countries. We also support twinning with other EU communities, thus supporting a network of European collaboration and development.

Facilitate access to European and national funds for local development projects.

Offer training and information programmes to improve skills in European project planning and promote European citizenship.

Create cooperation networks between local authorities, universities, schools and other institutions to promote the exchange of good practices and the implementation of joint projects.

Main Activities

Community Planning

Focus Europe offers consultancy for the drafting and management of projects funded by the European Union, national and regional. We support local authorities, universities and schools in accessing EU funding, ensuring personalized technical assistance at every stage of the project.

International Cooperation

We coordinate international development cooperation projects in the Middle East, Balkans, Maghreb, Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Activities include coordination, financial reporting, monitoring, training and communication.

Training and Information

We organize training courses, seminars and workshops to improve skills in European project planning. We offer training programs in schools of all levels, and specific training for municipal managers and officials. We promote European citizenship.

Twinning and Networks

We promote twinning between European communities and cooperation networks, encouraging the exchange of good practices and collaboration on common projects for sustainable development and social inclusion.

Covenant of Mayors

We provide technical support to help local governments achieve the energy sustainability objectives set by the Covenant of Mayors, improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy.

Europe Offices and International Relations

We support the creation of Europa Offices to improve access to and use of EU resources. We facilitate international relations and promote cooperation between local authorities and European institutions.
